Artwork help

Your Facebook photo isn’t your print file.

What to upload for sharper merch, and what to do when your only logo lives on social media.

Your business profile photo can look great on a phone and still struggle on a shirt. A small screen hides limitations that become obvious when the same image is enlarged.

Find the original first

Check the files your designer delivered, your email attachments, and any shared folders. Keep vector originals such as SVG, EPS, AI, or a suitable PDF for future production. This studio currently accepts PNG and JPG uploads; ask Jess if your best file is in another format.

Choose the right upload

A transparent PNG is useful when you want the artwork without a rectangular background. A JPG can work well for a photo or an intentionally solid background. Changing a JPG’s filename to PNG won’t remove its background or improve its detail.

Size matters at the final print size

The same image may be suitable for a small mark and unsuitable for a large print. Check the artwork-quality information in the customizer and look closely at lettering and fine edges. Making the file bigger does not, by itself, recover missing detail.

Use Facebook import to explore

Importing your public business profile image is a convenient way to preview an idea. Treat it as a starting point. Before printing, upload your original logo or ask for an artwork review.
