A vinyl cutter.
A big idea.
A lot of late nights.
We’re Jessica Trimm and Joe Combs. URGrafix has been the two of us since 2009—Jess doing the design work, and Joe behind the scenes making things happen. What started small grew into years of creating, printing, and helping other businesses put their ideas out into the world.
Today we’re based in Colville, Washington. But our story includes Graham, a vinyl cutter, our first big printer, and some very busy days working out of Jess’s mom’s doublewide mobile home.
Meet Jess & Joe.
Jess · Design & creative work
Jess handles the design side of URGrafix: logos, branding, packaging, layouts, and websites. She works through the visual details and helps clients develop an idea into a design they can use.
Joe · Production & photography
Joe does the hands-on, labor-intensive work behind the scenes. Heat pressing, operating the 3D printer and laser, and bringing designs into the physical world are part of his role. Photography is Joe’s work—all of it.
URGrafix’s story belongs to both of us. The design is one part; the production work and photography are just as much a part of what we’ve built.
Where it all started.
Before we had the big printer, we had a vinyl cutter and plenty of ideas. This photo is from around 2014 or 2015, when we were living in Graham, Washington. We believe we were attending an event—wearing the brand we were building.
The URGrafix hats and shirts are part of that history. Long before this online studio, we were making things, showing up, and putting our own designs to work.
Our first giant sticker order.
When we got our big printer around 2016–2017, we took on our first giant sticker order. We did it all out of Jess’s mom’s doublewide mobile home. Good times.
This is what that milestone looked like: stacks of finished stickers, wrapped and packed into boxes. Stickers became a big part of URGrafix, and that hands-on production experience is still part of how we approach a project.
In a 2020 interview with The Daily Scanner, we talked about our work in web design and printing, including promotional stickers, wall coverings, and packaging. That interview places the start of our sticker printing in 2016.
From stickers to entire walls.
In 2020, we designed and printed custom removable wallpaper for The Dab Roast / Level 5 Interactive, working with Scott McKinley.
The finished wall shows a different scale of the same work: a brand, a design, and a physical space brought together. Projects like this are part of URGrafix’s history alongside the logos, stickers, and packaging.
A little piece of the public record.
Lake Jane Estates’ Spring 2011 newsletter thanked Jessica Trimm of URGrafix for help with its new community logo. It is a small, dated record of the design work that came before the bigger print projects.

Together, we work on logos, labels, packaging, apparel, vendor displays, and websites. Jess handles design, while Joe contributes the hands-on production and photography. Through The Label Lady, Jess also helps businesses plan and order the materials that bring their branding together.
This online studio adds another way to start: try a logo on a product, build a sticker-bomb pattern, and see what you like before we fine-tune it. It connects the design tools to the practical questions—what artwork you have, where it should go, and what the finished item needs to do.
When you work with URGrafix, you’re working with a team that understands both the design and the hands-on work behind a finished product.
